It’s tough now when we are traveling so much with the tennis and missing a lot of school in week 4, 5 and 6 when the most midterms are. I just had one online and then I have one next Tuesday and we are gone Wednesday-Sunday, then I have one more Monday and one Wednesday the following week before we leave again on Thursday that week. Busy Busy.. But times goes fast so all the stress will hopefully be over soon! We are playing Portland and Portland State this weekend! Saturday at 10 am and Sunday at 3pm, the Men’s tennis team is playing two home matches too, so I will watch them play as well 🙂
Now I’ll head over to Daans place 🙂
Finished the weekend with two wins. Friday over South Carolina Upstate (7-0) and today against Eastern Washington (7-0). I won both my doubles and singles, so feels good now when I get more used to play matches! Next weekend will be a little tougher when we play Portland and Portland State so we just have to keep up the good work!

Made a Lentil-Curry Soup last night with my love. It was the first time we were doing it but it actually turned out well! I will post the recipe later if I remember 🙂
I just connected my Garmin Forerunner 610 watch to my computer from the run I made the other day. I realized that my run was pretty good and fast for being me even though it didn’t really feel like that while running. One of my new year resolutions is to be able to run 5k in 21:00 min. This run was 7k in 30:22 min with average speed 4.20min/km. So if I take the average speed times 5 I get exactly 21 min for 5k. This is to me the same as making my new year resolution, right? Nailed it the first week of 2014!
picture of me and my dad before going for a run over the winter break, hehe.
Did for the first time in my life an hour yoga today. It was Lena (in my tennis team)’s sister who instructed us. Even though I’m usually very impatient and like workout where I sweat a lot and feel the burn I still liked it. Maybe something I will squeeze in in my schedule in the future! Always good to try some new things!
