Met up with Johanna to push through some intervals! We started with 2k slow jog as a warm up warm up and then we did 1000 meters intervals x5 with 1 minute rest in between. I was on a 4.10min/km pace, which I think was OK for not having done intervals in such a long time! I was happy that I mentally finished all 5 of them haha. Felt really good after the last one! Then we took a 1.5k slow cool down jog. After the running I went inside to the gym to do my Oregon weights workout before driving back home for a big omelet lunch!
“if you look pretty after a workout you didn’t work hard enough” -though that quote fitted well today since I looked like a sweaty pig after the intervals haha!
