Gluten free Healthy Chocolate Balls 

Had a few minutes over and thought I would try this recipe I found on Ida Wargs blog a couple of days ago. It is very easy and takes literally only about 5 minutes. 

The recipe said it will be about 12 balls but I probably made then a little bigger than normal because that’s how I like them. So when I did it it ended up being 8 balls. This is what you need: 

  • 2.5 dl gluten free oats 
  • 2 tablespoons coffee
  • 0.75 dl melted coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao
  • 8-10 dates 
  • 1/2 tablespoon raw honey (or other sweetener)
  • A tiny sprinkle of sea salt
  • Coconut flakes for topping 

-> Just put everything in a blender/mixer (except the coconut flakes) and mix until a smooth dough. Pour the coconut flakes on a plate. Roll the dough to medium sized balls with your hands and then roll them in the coconut (works with other toppings as well, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, hemp seeds …). Put the balls in the fridge for 30-45 minutes and then enjoy! 

The chocolate balls are free from added sugar, gluten, and dairy!
