Made these healthy wraps yesterday. I found the recipe on Hanna’s blog, one of my absolute favorite blogs when it comes to food inspiration. Everything she makes is gluten free, dairy free and sugar free and many of her recipes, like this one for the wrap is also free from egg. I changed the recipe a little for what I had at home, but if you go on her blog you can find the original recipe (but it’s in Swedish).
This is what you need for 4 wraps:
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds mixed with 6 tablespoons water
- 4 tablespoons almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 0.75 tablespoon psyllium husk
- 0.75 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger spice
- A little sea salt
- 1/2 almond milk (or other milk of your choice)
-> Put the oven on 225 C. Melt the coconut oil. Mix the chia seeds with the water and stir. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then stir in the chia mix again. Mix all the ingredients to a smooth dough. Let rest for 4-5 minutes. Divide the dough in 4 equally sized pieces. Roll them out on a baking tray between two sheets of baking paper. They should be about 2-3 mm thick. Put in the middle of the oven for 5-6 minutes and serve with whatever filling you desire!
Keep them in the fridge (up to 5-6 days), heat up in the microwave for a freshly baked feeling.
