I have made this recipe once before and it turned out great both times! It’s a favorite for sure and my parents agree 🙂
The original recipe is from Ida Wargs blog. Here are the ingredients you need:
- 2.5 dl gluten free oats
- 2 tablespoons brewed coffee
- 0.75 dl melted coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons raw cacao
- 8-10 natural dates
- 1/2 tablespoon raw honey (or any other sweetener you’d like)
- A sprinkle of sea salt (secret ingredient 😉 )
- Coconut flakes for topping
-> Start with putting everything in a bowl (except the coconut flakes) and mix with a stavmixer until smooth. Pour the coconut flakes on a big plate. Roll the dough to small-medium balls and roll in the coconut. Put in the fridge for at least 20-30 minutes before eating your first one! They will stay fresh in the fridge for up to a week!
They are all natural, gluten free, dairy free, free from added sugar and healthy!
I actually take 2 or 3 of these every breakfast and use as part of my topping on my oatmeal, chia-pudding or quark/cottage cheese mix. It’s dangerously deliciuos!
