Actually didn’t feel like oatmeal this morning (which doesn’t happen very often), but instead I was craving something fresh and nutritious for an extra boost. I decided to put together a smoothie, also because I’m looking forward to the spring and sunshine so much! This smoothie has summer-feelings all over it.
Berry Banana Smoothie (1 large glass)
- 1 large banana
- 3 dl coconut milk
- 2 dl frozen strawberries
- 1 /2 tablespoon Nordic berry powder (Nordisk bärmix) from Alivefoods
- a small piece fresh ginger
- (1 dl yoghurt or quark if you want the smoothie a little more creamy)
-> Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. You can decide yourself if you want to add more milk or yoghurt to make it more loose or creamy. Then I sprinkled some bee pollen on top for some more super-foods!
On the side of this smoothie I had two perfectly boiled eggs, a green kiwi and a large cup of coffee. A perfect morning to kick-start this day!
