This oatmeal was for me very filling, maybe because I topped it with a large mountain of almond butter? Anyway, it tasted great and is a perfect alternative to my other gluten and dairy free oatmeal recipes!
Buckwheat Caramel Oatmeal (1 portion)
- 1 dl buckwheat
- 2 dl water
- 1 teaspoon maca powder from Alivefoods
- 5-10 drops of stevia drops caramel flavor from Alivefoods
- 1/2 zucchini, shredded
-> Start by mixing the buckwheat and water in a pot. Bring to boil and stir frequently so that it doesn’t burn. Add the maca powder and stevia drops and stir a little more. Add the shredded zucchini, stir and take it off the heat. Pour over to a bowl and add toppings.
