Buckwheat Caramel Oatmeal

This oatmeal was for me very filling, maybe because I topped it with a large mountain of almond butter? Anyway, it tasted great and is a perfect alternative to my other gluten and dairy free oatmeal recipes!

Buckwheat Caramel Oatmeal (1 portion)

-> Start by mixing the buckwheat and water in a pot. Bring to boil and stir frequently so that it doesn’t burn. Add the maca powder and stevia drops and stir a little more. Add the shredded zucchini, stir and take it off the heat. Pour over to a bowl and add toppings.

My toppings today:

  This oatmeal is 100% free from gluten, dairy and added sugar. The maca powder has a bit of a caramel/chocolate flavor, so it’s a perfect superfoods for this oatmeal to add extra caramel sweetness!
