Chocolate Protein Waffles 

For lunch today we made gluten free chocolate protein waffles. My favorite waffle recipe! 

Chocolate Protein Waffles (1-2 portions)

-> Start by mixing the oats to a flour. Mash the banana in a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Let stand for 5 minutes. When the waffle iron is heated up. Add some coconut oil and pour over a little of the dough. Fry the waffles and then enjoy with your favorite toppings! 

Toppings alternatives (and I usually have multiple of these on the same waffle. Delicious!)

  • Coconut cream
  • Fresh berries 
  • Peanutbutter or other nutbutter
  • Cottage cheese 
  • Sugar free jam 
  • Fresh fruits 
  • Walden farms syrups 
  • Chocolate casein pudding (recipe HERE) 
  • Quark in different flavors 
  • Dried berries, fruit or superfruits

 Today I had coconut cream, fresh strawberries and blueberries and melon!
