Want a ice cream without any sugar, lactose, additives and still taste really sweet and fresh? This is one of the easiest recipes and takes no time to prepare. It is also really easy to switch a ingredient to get a totally different flavor. Today I went with a vanilla flavor. Perfect for a warm sunny day!
Vanilla Banana Ice cream (1 portion)
- 2 frozen bananas (remember to chop them up before freezing them!)
- a little water or milk (works with coconut, almond, soy-milk)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla power from Alivefoods
- (optional: 3-5 drops of vanilla stevia drops from Alivefoods)
-> Take the frozen banana pieces out of the freezer. Put in a bowl and pour over a little little water or milk. Use a stick.blender to make is smooth, halfway through add the vanilla power and stevia drops. If you like you can put it back in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to get it a little harder, or eat right away! My absolute favorite toppings for this one is crunchy peanut butter! I also usually add some berries and gojiberries.
This ice cream (without the stevia drops) is 100% paleo, gluten free, dairy free, vegan, free from added sugar and still DELICIOUS!
