I don’t even need to look at the original recipe for my healthy chocolate balls anymore since I make them almost every weekend. They’re so good! Today I felt like trying something different but still similar.
Ended up being an other alternative to delicious and healthy chocolate balls. These ones include more protein and an even stronger flavor of chocolate thanks to my favorite chocolate protein powder from dxb nutrition. I got my protein powder from Fitnessbutiken.
High Protein Chocolate Balls (about 7 large ones)
- 2.5 dl gluten free oats
- 0.75 dl coconut oil
- 6 dried figs
- 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder dxb nutrition from Fitnessbutiken
- 2.5 tablespoons freshly brewed coffee
- A sprinkle of sea salt
- Coconut flakes for topping
-> Put everything in a blender and mix until a dough without any chunks. Roll into balls and then roll them in coconut flakes. An alternative is to roll them in cacao nibs as well, very delicious! Put in the fridge for 20 minutes before starting to snack!
These chocolate balls are 100 % free from gluten and added sugar. Also high in protein and if you exclude(or use a different kind) the protein powder it’s dairy free and paleo-friendly.
