I made these in small dessert forms in the oven instead of muffin-forms, which I though I would. Ended up really good and I actually made a second dough with gingerbread spice as well. Success times 2! A easy, quick and healthy recipe!
Cinnamon/Cardamom Buns (5 buns)
- 3 dl almond flour
- 0.5 dl sunflower seeds
- 0.5 dl sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon cardamom (alternative: 1 teaspoon gingerbread spice)
- 2 eggs
- 0.5 dl coconut milk
- coconut oil for the forms
-> Turn the oven on 225 degrees Celsius. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs and milk. Add the egg and milk mix to the dry ingredients. The dough is pretty sticky and wet. Put some coconut oil on the muffin-forms and then add the dough. Sprinkle on some sesame seeds (I used black sesame seeds) and then put in the oven for 15 minutes. Take out and let cool down before using a knife to loosen the edges from the forms.
